The 901 Ranch is located in south Lubbock and offers more than 20 acres of land for camping with numerous options such as tent campers, Monthly Rv Park, and cabins (some with full private bathrooms). There are also a basketball court, horseshoes pits, fire pits, and more for your enjoyment.

Johnson County State Park is located in northwest Lubbock and offers 144 campsites with toilets and showers included in addition to picnic areas, playgrounds, an amphitheater that seats 1,500 people (opens at 6:00 pm during concert seasons).

It also includes boat ramps stocking fishing gear as well as kayaks and canoes, a swim beach, twenty miles of hiking and biking trails with electronic guide boards indicating the distance, eleven marinas for boat rentals and various services such as fuel, ice, bait and more.
